SDA suppliers and existing residents must enter into or enter into a new SDA residence contract by January 1, 2020. The Disability Act also introduces new provisions that allow an SDA resident with a residential rent rental agreement to request a visit to a visitor to the community. Declarations of residence under the Disability Act are maintained until existing residents are transferred to new SDA residence contracts or housing leases under the ATR.
